The Zeta Optima fuel & travel card is a digital card designed to help corporates to manage fuel and conveyance expenses program. Corporates can issue fuel & travel cards to disburse various fuel and travel related allowances to employees electronically. These allowances are, for example, fuel recharge, car hire, car maintenance or insurance as well as business travel or transfer cost and daily expenditures on business tour or transfer incurred by the employee as defined in the IT taxation rules.
The entire program is flexible and customized to suit your corporate policy. For example in order to issue a prepaid card, HR would need to load currency into the employee’s fuel card for their fuel expenses every month based on the company’s policy. An employee can redeem fuel cards against fuel purchase or car servicing / maintenance and car hire using the Zeta super card to save income tax.
Zeta doesn’t own any tax accounting responsibility on corporate conveyance allowances against fuel expenses. Zeta recommends organizations to adhere to the IT guidelines to deal with both conveyance allowance and reimbursement of fuel expenses.
