Useful Facts
As per IT rule, an organisation can offer the tax benefit to employees on their meal expenses that are transacted through paid voucher, a non-transferable instrument.
You can initiate meal payments to both Zeta-affiliated (online and offline mode) and non-affiliated meal merchants.
To avail the meal reimbursement, you must upload meal expenses in the Zeta App interface when you transact using another valid RuPay/visa/master card or purchase by cash.
The meal reimbursement is not applicable to alcoholic beverages.
Before You Begin
Ensure the following:
You’ve received a digital Zeta meal voucher from your corporate HR. Note that your email ID must be verified to receive the meal credits if vouchers are issued on your email ID.
You've secured your account to gain access against unauthorised access and activities.
You’ve appropriate balance in your meal or super cards to initiate payment through Zeta platform and to avoid transaction declined error.
You’ve appropriate balance in your meal voucher to claim your expenses by uploading meal bills.
How Meal Voucher Flow Works?
The Zeta Meal Vouchers program provides a simple workflow to process your meal expenses. All you need to do is:
Receive a Zeta meal vouchers from your corporate HR.
Pay your meal expenses to merchants using the Zeta app or Zeta Super Card or Zeta Super Tag. You can pay meal expense to both Zeta-affiliated (online and offline mode) and non-affiliated meal merchants.
Using the Zeta app, upload the valid and legible bill for approval in case you paid your meal using any other valid RuPay/visa/master card or in cash.
That’s all. Your claim would be processed in one business day post successful verification.

Using the Zeta Meal Interface
The Zeta meal voucher provides an intuitive interface that allows you to perform ranges of tasks online such as:
You need to upload bills only when you buy meal or grocery products using any other valid RuPay/visa/master card or in cash instead of meal voucher in Zeta App.
Once you click your Cards tab, your active Meal Voucher appears as shown below:
Tap on Meal Voucher, a homepage appears:
On this page, you can perform the following actions:
- Upload meal bill
- View meal voucher details
- View meal transaction details
You can even order food by using Order Food, Find Restaurant, Zeta Express.
Order food option is linked up with Swiggy, Find Restaurant option is linked up with Zomato.
You can order food from campus cafeteria using Zeta Express.
