 Is my Zeta Account access secured?

Zeta Super Card and Zeta App features both are PIN protected and secure. In addition, Zeta offers self-service security features that enable you to enhance your security.

 Why is my mobile number required for Super Card activation?

As per RBI regulations, we are supposed to notify users about their every online and offline transaction. You need to register your mobile number to get the notifications.

 Is the Zeta Platform security standard certified?

Yes. Since Zeta is PCI DSS and ISO 27001 certified for data and card security.

 What is Secure Access?

Secure Access is a security feature to enable the use of device lock (fingerprint/facial recognition/pattern/password) for Zeta App. This eliminates the need for remembering two separate unlocking mechanisms.

 How to set up Secure Access?
  1. Open Zeta App.
  2. Tap hamburger icon ( ) and then tap Settings.

  3. Tap Secure Access , toggle-on Use default device lock switch.   

 How to disable Secure Access or Enable App PIN?

To reset App PIN as the default locking mechanism, disable Secure Access by tapping on Use default device lock again.

Payment Security

 Which Zeta features make payments secure?

The Zeta Super Card transactions are secured by the following means:

  1. SuperPIN: A dynamic Zeta Super Card PIN that refreshes for every 2 minutes.
  2. Swipe2Pay: A payment confirmation mechanism to avoid manual OTP/password entry.
  3. LocationShield: A geo-tagging mechanism to avoid any location mismatch of Super Card transactions.
  4. Change PIN (Static PIN): A 4-digit security PIN/static PIN. You can set/change the static Zeta Super Card PIN using Change PIN setting.
 How to enable SuperPIN?
  1. Open Zeta App.
  2. Tap on the virtual Super Card.

The SuperPIN appears below the Super Card if you have not enabled the static PIN.

 How to set up/change the Static PIN?
  1. Open Zeta App.
  2. Tap on the virtual Super Card and then tap Super Card Settings.
  3. Tap Change PIN.
  4. Tap Yes and then enter a new Super Card PIN.
 Can I use a Static PIN/disable SuperPIN?

Yes. You can set up a Static PIN to opt out SuperPIN/Dynamic PIN from Super Card Settings.

 How to secure my offline transactions?

Use Zeta SuperPIN to secure your offline transactions as an alternative to traditional PIN for transaction. Super Pin is dynamic as it keeps changing after every two minutes and applicable for only one transaction.

 How do I block my Super Card?

You can block Zeta Super Card temporarily.

  1. Open Zeta App.
  2. Tap on the virtual Super Card and then tap Super Card Settings.
  3. Toggle-on Block Temporarily switch.
 What is the use for LocationShield security feature?

The LocationShield feature uses geo-tagging mechanism to avoid any location mismatch of Super Card transactions. In other words, Zeta tracks and matches the location of the user versus the location of the transaction to verify whether both are at same location. If you enable the LocationShield, the transaction will be blocked in a case of a mismatch of location.

 How to enable LocationShield?

You can enable LocationShield in Super Card Settings. For detailed procedure, see Manage your Super Card.

 How does Swipe2Pay feature protects my Super Card payment?

Zeta offers a quick and innovative approach like Swipe2Pay that allows a swipe action on the app to authorize your payment. It addresses the potential OTP breach and security thread. In case you're offline during the final payment, use Zeta SuperPIN to complete a transaction. 

 How to enable Swipe2Pay?

You can enable Swipe2Pay in Super Card Settings. For detailed procedure, see Manage your Super Card.
