Yes. As an employee, you can make an LTA claim for your spouse, children, dependent parents and siblings provided you are on leave and are travelling along with them.

The rejection of the LTA claim can be mainly due to the following reasons:

  1. You produce a proof of domestic travel.
  2. The travel should be in your (employee) name.
  3. You must be the part of travel.
  4. You and your dependant travel together and the proof of which must be reflected on the travel tickets.
  5. You're on a leave for a minimum of 3 working days and leaves are approved.
  6. Don't submit hotel, food, and any other travel related bill apart from transport bill.

If the issue persists then contact Zeta support for more assistance.

You can save up to 30% in taxes on travel expenses with the Zeta LTA Card.

You need to specify travel details of your Connecting Trips.

In the case of connecting flight, only mention source and destination as a single trip. Don’t specify the connecting city mentioned in the ticket.

Add the onward journey as one trip and the return as another trip.

Any LTA claim in excess of allowed numbers in a fiscal year would be treated as a taxable income.

Since your employer provides you the Zeta LTA credits against your email ID or phone number, ensure that your email ID or phone number is verified to get the Zeta LTA credits regularly.

Number of LTA claims that you can get in a year depends on your organisation.

Note that all your reimbursement instruments get closed after every financial year end (effective 20th March'18) and the following settlements are done for any outstanding balance in your cards and the amount stuck in your holding account:

  1. Any remaining amount can either be transferred in full to your Cash Card and appropriate tax deductions can be made while processing payroll or the remaining amount could be recalled and credited as part of your payroll, after making appropriate deductions, as per your company's policy.
  2. Any claim uploaded and approved but the amount not reimbursed into the cash card due to non-compliance with the KYC or PPI limit is paid to you as a part of your monthly salary with no tax deductions.
