The Zeta Driver Salary Card is a comprehensive digital card that your organisation grants for driver salary expenses every month. The Zeta Driver Salary Card is a prepaid instrument where you can upload bills depending on your company policy.

Your company should sign up with us and choose to offer Zeta Driver Salary Reimbursements as an employee tax benefit. Your Zeta Driver Salary Card is credited every month or as per your organisation, which you can access via Zeta app or Zeta on Web platform.


Your employer will credit your Zeta Driver Salary Card during monthly payout.

A maximum tax exempt limit for Driver's salary is 900 per month. Also your organisation can set its own limit of reimbursement for driver salary.


Your reimbursements can be declined due to following issues while submitting bills:

  1. Bills from last fiscal year
  2. Blurred, faded, tampered or overwritten bills
  3. Copy of driver’s driving license is missing
  4. Employee’s or driver’s signature is missing
  5. Driving license name or number on the bill doesn’t match with the original driving license. 


No. You can pay your driver’s salary via cash or personal credit/ debit card and the receipt has to be uploaded via the Zeta Mobile app.


Yes. You can upload your previous receipts as well on the Zeta app.


You can upload multiple receipts in the same month. However, duplicate bills are not allowed. 


Since your employer provides you the Zeta Driver Salary credits against your email ID or phone number, ensure that your email ID or phone number is verified to get the Zeta Driver Salary credits regularly.


You can opt for Zeta Driver Salary Reimbursements any time in a year, provided your company policies allow it. Your reimbursements for the period will be calculated as per guidelines set by your organisation.


Note that all your reimbursement instruments get closed after every financial year end (effective 20th March'18) and the following settlements are done for any outstanding balance in your cards and the amount stuck in your holding account:

  1. Any remaining amount can either be transferred in full to your Cash Card and appropriate tax deductions can be made while processing payroll or the remaining amount could be recalled and credited as part of your payroll, after making appropriate deductions, as per your company's policy.
  2. Any claim uploaded and approved but the amount not reimbursed into the cash card due to non-compliance with the KYC or PPI limit is paid to you as a part of your monthly salary with no tax deductions.

Legal and Compliance

Yes. Zeta Driver Salary Card is 100% compliant with the government and Income tax act. You can refer to Driver Salary Tax Exemption for more information.


The Zeta Driver Salary Card valid for one financial year. It can be extendable by your organisation, if you have opted for it.


Yes, you need to submit the following documents:

  1. A receipt of the salary is mandatory. 
  2. A picture of the driving license of the driver is required.
  3. Your company might also require you to paste a revenue stamp on the receipt.

Usage

  1. Receive a Zeta Driver Salary Card from your HR. The card appears on the bottom of the home screen of your Zeta app.
  2. Using the Zeta app, upload the valid and legible driver bill documents for approval.


No. You need to pay the driver and submit the invoice for reimbursement.


Any unclaimed amount in Driver Salary Card in a fiscal year would be treated as a taxable component. In this case, you receive the amount after the tax deduction.


Yes. Zeta platform supports the following notifications:

  1. SMS Notifications - Notifications triggered to your registered mobile number.
  2. Inbox (In-App) Notifications - Notifications under Inbox tab in your Zeta app.
  3. Email Notifications - Notifications directed to your registered email ID.
  4. Push Notifications - Notifications triggered by your app to notify the app user.


Bill Submission

  1. Open the Zeta app and locate Driver Salary Card.
  2. Click on the Upload Bill option.
  3. Click photos or upload pictures of the bills.
  4. Enter the amount spent.
  5. Submit your claim.


No. Only bills from the current financial year will be accepted.


Yes. Zeta provides both multiple bill upload and lengthy bill upload features.


You need not keep a physical copy of bills unless your company wants you to do so.
